Does it matter? Decision-making by people with learning disabilities

This project is about people with learning disabilities in Scotland.  In particular, it is about those who are judged to lack capacity, and who have someone substituted for them in decision making, despite having an ability to make some decisions.  The project explores how supported decision making can be designed to replace substitute decision making.  This introduces the idea of autonomous decision making in line with a human rights approach.
